The Fillmore Philadelphia

Welcome to The Fillmore Philadelphia, where history, community, and entertainment collide to create an unparalleled concert experience.

An Industrial History: Opening our doors in 2015 in the Fishtown District, The Fillmore Philly occupies a building with a storied past. The site was originally constructed in 1912 as the industrial facility Ajax Metal Factory, which played a pivotal role in the city's economic development. The facility went dormant for over 40 years until Live Nation transformed the historic space into the iconic music venue it is today, while still preserving the industrial features. The original smokestack runs through our smaller club, appropriately named The Foundry, where the bar is made from wood salvaged from Ajax. If you’re stopping by for a Fillmore show, head to the Ajax Bar in our main lobby, where you can enjoy drinks surrounded by the original exposed brick walls, sturdy steel beams, and facade comprised of the building's old fire doors. While maintaining the classic Fillmore brand with signatures chandeliers and vintage posters, the architectural charm that echoes the neighborhood's history shines through.

Community Impact: We believe in more than just providing a venue for entertainment – we are committed to benefitting and celebrating our Fishtown neighborhood and city of Philadelphia. Integral in the formation of the Fishtown BID (Business Improvement District), The Fillmore Philadelphia has proudly been the site of blood drives, government polling, local giveaways, COVID testing, neighborhood holiday celebrations, inaugural parties, and more. We’ve also been a stop on the Phillies pep rally bus tour (go Phils!) and were hosts of a 2018 Super Bowl party to remember (go Birds!). We also strive to highlight the local artists that make our city so vibrant. Keep an eye out for our Stacey Flygirl, AMBERELLA, or Willis “Nomo” Humphrey installations that decorate the venue. The murals painted on the outside of our building, done by great artists like Kyle Confehr, are part of a rotating mural partnership with the Mural Arts Program on Richmond Street.

The Fillmore Campus: We’ve got neighbors with top notch entertainment, too! The Fillmore Philadelphia's campus merges diverse venues all on the same block, including the Brooklyn Bowl for live music and bowling, the Punch Line comedy club, and The Foundry (a club on the second floor of The Fillmore) for intimate shows with emerging artists. The Fillmore Campus offers up something for everyone - be a part of the exciting entertainment hub right in the heart of Fishtown!

The Fillmore Philadelphia has cultivated a legacy that exceeds far beyond just being a concert hall. We invite you to become part of our ongoing story.
